ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Beth—an internationally accredited transitional life coach specializing in helping individuals facing major life changes, specializing in helping widowed people rebuild their lives after the loss of a life partner. My work is rooted in lived experience, deep compassion, and a belief that transformation is possible even after the most devastating chapters of life.
I wasn’t always a coach. In fact, I began this journey because I was once exactly where many of my clients are now: stuck, grieving, and unsure how to move forward.
My turning point came after several life‑changing events I had no control over. In my 30s, I received a chronic diagnosis that reshaped my daily life. Years later, just before the pandemic, my husband passed away unexpectedly—on my birthday. His death shattered my identity and forced me to confront my beliefs, values, and the future I thought I knew.
For a long time, I lived in survival mode. But in early 2023, I woke up with a clarity I couldn’t ignore: if I wanted a different life, I had to create it. That moment sparked a complete transformation.

I researched, planned, and took a leap of faith. I left a lucrative career, moved closer to my family, and returned to school to become a certified life coach with a focus on grief recovery, life transitions, and post‑loss reinvention.
Today, I help clients:
-
Navigate the emotional and practical challenges of life after loss
-
Rebuild identity and confidence after the death of a spouse or partner
-
Move from survival mode to purposeful, empowered living
-
Create a future that feels meaningful, aligned, and self‑directed
My coaching is designed for people who are ready to heal, grow, and step into a new chapter—even if they’re not sure what that chapter looks like yet.

I’m now more fulfilled than I’ve been in years. No regrets—only gratitude for the path that brought me here and the clients I now have the privilege to support.
If you’re ready to explore what your next chapter could look like, I’m here to walk that journey with you.
The unimaginable has happened. You lost your life partner. And it was devastating. Now, it's time to start living your life. Trust me, I know what it's like. WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING . . .
Kate F., McLean, VA
Beth is an amazing coach! She creates a safe environment for you to feel and explore areas of yourself that you may not typically reveal.
Through Beth's coaching, I was able to pinpoint the triggers, barriers, and thoughts that were impeding my growth and trust in myself.

A lot of that has cleared away and I have changed negative narratives in my head. I now feel free, light, and more confident. She took me to places I didn’t know I needed to go to. Beth helps you tap into your authentic, true self to get results.

When I first started working with Beth, I had a hard time processing that I was not promoted last year, and that this year if I wasn’t promoted again, I was fearful I would have those same feelings of uncertainty.
By working with Beth, I gained much more than just accepting myself. I became super confident and even more creative with work and now feel that I am genuinely myself and more mature than I previously was.
Beth is trustworthy, kind, and helpful with a lot of complicated experiences. Beth’s coaching sessions are a safe place for people who face work environment challenges to see things clearly and become the best version of themselves.

The Energy Leadership Index® Assessment provided valuable insights for me. I’ve been having a tough time accepting my husband’s illness and the potential consequences of the treatment plan. It became apparent that I was angry and fearful but also realized there was reason to be positive.
I mostly realized that I really have to learn to let things go and stop dwelling on what I cannot change. I also acknowledge that I need to set boundaries.
I’m looking forward to overcoming these challenges in the next steps of my coaching journey with Beth.
Lisa P., Falling Waters, WV
Beth is a great motivator. She looks at things from all angles and encourages you to do the same. I was trying to decide whether I wanted a part-time position during retirement.
I was lost and did not know how to even approach it. Beth helped me identify what my priorities were and what types of work suited them. Beth helped me develop an action plan while boosting my self-confidence.
One of the things I appreciated best about Beth is she really listened to what I was saying (and sometimes to what I was not saying)!

The Energy Leadership Index® Assessment provided valuable insights for me. I’ve been having some challenges dealing with my husband's diagnosis of a progressive, neurological disorder and the subsequent impacts on both our lives.

The ELI debrief helped me to see that I am tolerating certain circumstances, but not really addressing those feelings of being a victim and the anger/frustration lying beneath the surface.

The key takeaway from the ELI debrief was the insight and level of awareness it offered me. Beth was able to propose some easily implementable and actionable tools that will help me navigate forward.
Erin B., Fredericksburg, VA
The problem I started working on with Beth was work-related. I felt like a victim and was hoping to find a way to enjoy my job more. Now, I am liking my job more and things have been a lot better at work.
Beth is someone who can help you meet your goals and is very good at reading a situation and saying things in an easily digestible manner. I now have a much more positive attitude, both at work and in general.
I have referred Beth to others and indicated she really helped me.
Sara C., Syracuse, NY
Before working with Beth, I found myself constantly overthinking and second-guessing every decision. I struggled to set boundaries and felt overwhelmed by the expectations I was allowing others to place on me.
Through our work together, Beth provided a powerful framework that helped me ask the right questions and uncover how I truly felt in each situation.
She gently but firmly challenged me to look inward, sit with my emotions, and reconnect with my intuition. If you're facing tough decisions or feeling stuck, Beth will guide you with clarity and compassion.
James P., Rehobeth Beach, DE
When I started working with Beth, I was in the midst of a major career transition after 25 years with the same organization. I felt untethered, unsure of myself, and weighed down by imposter syndrome in a new and unfamiliar setting.
Beth brought clarity and objectivity, helping me organize my thoughts, tap into my existing strengths, and build confidence in mastering new challenges.
Her supportive, nonjudgmental approach created a space where I could honestly explore my goals and fears, uncover barriers, and develop practical strategies to move forward with assurance.
Vicki M., Hagerstown, MD
When I went to Beth, I was frustrated, unhappy, and struggling with a disorganized house, after the tragic loss of my husband. I was having a hard time letting go of my husband’s belongings, contributing to the overall sense of loss of control and emotional weight.
Together, we identified easily implementable time management strategies and techniques as well as a systematic, realistic approach to what stayed and what could be let go.
Beth helped me quickly realize it wasn’t just about the house, but my attachment to a life that looked much differently now. Beth is a great listener with good insight!
